This past weekend one of my friends and I decided to try our hand at thrifting.  I was in search of a pedestal side table and thought it would be fun to find something that needed a little work.  Our search came up empty handed, but we had a blast wandering through some pretty neat stores in our area.  One store in particular won our hearts, The Red Collection, they had tons and tons of vintage, contemporary and eclectic furniture pieces for all styles.

Oven Baked Chili Cheese Dogs

OMG!!! I am sooo excited to share this recipe with you.  One of the first meals we had with close friends of ours was Oven Baked Chili Cheese Dogs during a Sunday evening Panthers game.  Fast forward a few months and one of my other friends and I were discussing how sad, tired, boring, hot dogs and become the go to in her house when neither her or her husband felt like cooking.  I remembered our delicious meal we had a few months earlier, asked for the recipe to pass on and decided to try it out myself.  Voila, a new twist to regular hot dogs! This is definitely a must try recipe, after you do let me know how you liked it!

DC Tour

This past week our sweet spunky goddaughter turned 6,  I remember the day she was born! For her special day, we took a trip to DC to tour the monuments and visit a few Smithsonian museums.  We had so much fun riding the metro, seeing the sites and eating lunch at food trucks right outside the Washington Monument. Greater Tuna Salad

Carnival Victory

This past week we were truly blessed to be able to spend time with our bff's on a long overdue vacation.  We cruised to Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico and ate too much, slept too long and laughed extra hard, in a nutshell; the perfect vacation!  Happy 7 Year Anniversary to the Ridgill's!

Cranberry-Chocolate Cookies

I was going through old posts and realized I had never blogged about this favorite treat around our house.  Cranberry-Chocolate Cookies came to us when we helped my little sister clean our her dorm room 2 hours before graduation.  Her and her roommates were going to toss a bunch of food, I salvaged the non perishables and this little gem was on the side of the new King Arthur White-Wheat flour bag they were about to toss.  Cranberry-Chocolate Cookies have been a family favorite ever since!
