Chocolate Cake
BIG Thank you to Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, for this to die for Chocolate Cake. She made this cake for her husbands birthday on one episode this season and I was almost drooling as I watched her make it. Look how tasty it looks!

Housewarming Gift (Part 2)
If anyone has ever used large a large canvas, they know they are sold in sets of two. After completing the first part of my project in part 1 of this post, I had an extra canvas. In keeping with the theme of inspirational quotes, I had one more quote up my sleeve for my friend. Take a peek!

Guacamole
Guacamole is not one of my favorite dips, but I must say this recipe from Alton Brown of the Food Network might have won me over!

Chicken and Waffles
This Southern delicacy is one that I usually would not think to make at home. One evening I had a craving for something sweet, savory and easy to prepare. Feeling a little adventurous and slightly lazy, I decided this should be a quick, easy and tasty meal to tackle and it was! Enjoy!

Fire Roasted Salsa
This Fire Roasted Salsa recipe was a huge hit at our party. The recipe makes a lot and freezes well too! It is a bit spicy, so be sure to issue a warning to your guests before they dive in!

Festive Fiesta Centerpieces
Continuing with the Fiesta theme, a part of my centerpiece was a cute crafty votive holder that took no time to create. I used confetti found at a local party store, Swoozies, to adhere to a round glass floral bowl found at Dollar Tree. All it took was a paint brush and a mixture of 1 part water to 2 parts Elmer's glue to add different colored stripes to the glass holders.
